Leonid Shemetkov (* 3. July 1937 in Gomel; † 24. March 2013 in Gomel) was a russian mathematician. He was 75 years old. He studied at Francišak Skaryna Gomel State University. He worked at Francišak Skaryna Gomel State University and Institute of Mathematics. He received 5 awards, including Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of Francisc Skorina.
