Biography
Leopold Vietoris (* June 4, 1891 in Bad Radkersburg; †April 9, 2002 in Innsbruck) was an austrian mathematician. He was 110 years old. His education included University of Vienna, Stiftsgymnasium Melk and TU Wien. He received 5 awards, including Great Golden Medal of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria, Austrian Decoration for Science and Art. He was buried at Westfriedhof.
