Les Payne (* 12. July 1941 in Tuscaloosa; † 19. March 2018 in Harlem) was an american journalist. He was 76 years old. His education included University of Connecticut and Hartford Public High School. His awards include National Association of Black Journalists Hall of Fame, Journalist of the Year and Pulitzer Prize for Biography. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
