Lionel Jospin (* July 12, 1937 in Meudon; † March 22, 2026 in 15th arrondissement of Paris) was a 93rd Prime Minister of France. He was 88 years old. He was married to Élisabeth Dannenmuller and Sylviane Agacinski. His education included Lycée Charlemagne, École nationale d'administration, Sciences Po and Lycée Janson-de-Sailly. His faith was Reformed Christianity. He received 5 awards, including Commander of the French Order of Academic Palms, Officer of the National Order of Quebec. His cause of death was surgical complications.
