Biography of Lisel Mueller

Lisel Mueller (* 8. February 1924 in Hamburg; † 21. February 2020 in Chicago) was a deutsch-amerikanische Dichterin und Übersetzerin. She was 96 years old. She studied at University of Evansville. She worked at Goddard College. Her awards include Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, National Book Award and Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize. Her cause of death was pneumonia.
