Biography of Liu Xiaobo

Liu Xiaobo (* 28. December 1955 in Changchun; † 13. July 2017 in First Affiliated Hospital, China Medical University) was a chinese literary critic, writer, professor, and human rights activist. He was 61 years old. He was married to Liu Xia. He had 1 child. His education included Jilin University, Beijing Normal University and High School Attached to Northeast Normal University. His faith was atheism. He received 8 awards, including Nobel Peace Prize, Hermann Kesten Prize. His cause of death was cancer.
