Lotfi A. Zadeh (* February 4, 1921 in Novkhany; † September 6, 2017 in Berkeley) was an american electrical engineer and computer scientist. He was 96 years old. His education included Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Tehran, Columbia University and Alborz High School. He received 9 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Nizami Ganjavi Gold Medal. He was buried at Alley of Honor.
