Biography
Lothar-Günther Buchheim (* February 6, 1918 in Weimar; † February 22, 2007 in Starnberg) was an author, artist. He was 89 years old. He was married to Diethild Buchheim. His education included Dresden Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. He received 5 awards, including Bavarian Order of Merit, Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Bernried.
