Louis Hambis (* 18. December 1906 in Ligugé; † 10. October 1978 in Maisons-Laffitte) was a french orientalist specialized in Central Asia and High Asia. He was 71 years old. He worked at Collège de France and École pratique des hautes études. He was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour.
