Biography of Luis Alberto Monge Álvarez

Luis Alberto Monge (* 29. December 1925 in Palmares Canton; † 29. November 2016 in San José) was a president of Costa Rica. He was 90 years old. He was married to Doris Yankelewitz Berger. He studied at University of Costa Rica. His awards include Knight Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic‎. His cause of death was cardiac arrest.
