Biography of Maharram Hashimov

Maharram Hashimov (* 2. February 1912 in Baku; † 2. May 1969 in Baku) was an azerbaijani playwright. He was 57 years old. He worked at Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators, Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre and Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater. He received 6 awards, including Order of the Red Banner of Labour, People's Artiste of the Azerbaijan SSR. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at II Alley of Honor.
