Biography of Maksim Meysel

Maksim Meysel (* 11. October 1901 in Saint Petersburg; † 18. March 1987 in Moscow) was a soviet microbiologist. He was 85 years old. He studied at First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg. He worked at MSU Faculty of Biology and Winogradsky Institute of Microbiology RAS. He received 6 awards, including Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labour. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
