Marc Blancpain (* 29. September 1909 in Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache; † 7. April 2001 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) was a french journalist, writer and historian. He was 91 years old. He studied at École normale supérieure de lettres et sciences humaines. He worked at Le Parisien, International School of Geneva, Lycée Français du Caire and Alliance française. He received 4 awards, including Commander of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1939–1945.
