Biography of Marcel Marceau

Marcel Marceau (* 22. March 1923 in Strasbourg; † 22. September 2007 in Cahors) was a french actor and mime artist (1923–2000. He was 84 years old. He was married to Ella Jaroszewicz. He had 4 children. His education included Lycée Fustel-de-Coulanges (Strasbourg), Lycée Gay-Lussac and École nationale supérieure d'art de Limoges. His faith was Judaism. He received 8 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Commander of the National Order of Merit. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
