Marco Maciel (* 21. July 1940 in Recife; † 12. June 2021 in Brasília) was a vice president of Brazil from 1995 to 2002. He was 80 years old. He studied at Federal University of Pernambuco. His awards include Great Cross of the National Order of Scientific Merit, Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic and Medal of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. His cause of death was COVID-19.
