Biography
Marek Edelman (* January 1, 1919 in Gomel; † October 2, 2009 in Warsaw) was a (1919–2009) Jewish resistance member. He was 90 years old. He was married to Alina Margolis-Edelman. He studied at Medical University of Łódź. His faith was irreligion. He received 4 awards, including honorary doctor of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow, honorary doctor of the Université libre de Bruxelles. He was buried at Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery.
