Biography of Marek Karp

Marek Karp (* 2. July 1952 in Zamość; † 12. September 2004 in Warsaw) was a polish historian. He was 52 years old. He studied at University of Warsaw. He worked at Centre for Eastern Studies, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw and University of Warsaw. His awards include Officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Officer of the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas and Award of the "Rzeczpospolita" newspaper named after Jerzy Giedroyc. His cause of death was traffic collision. He was buried at Powązki Cemetery.
