Biography
Margarita Salas (* November 30, 1938 in Caneiru; † November 7, 2019 in Madrid) was a spanish biochemist. She was 80 years old. She was married to Eladio Viñuela Díaz. Her education included Complutense University of Madrid and Colegio de la Asunción, Gijón. She received 10 awards, including Medal of Merit in Research and University Education, honorary doctorate of the University of Burgos.
