Biography
Margherita Hack (* June 12, 1922 in Florence; † June 29, 2013 in Trieste) was an italian astrophysicist and popular science writer. She was 91 years old. She studied at University of Florence. Her faith was atheism. Her awards include Gold Medal for Merit in Science and Culture, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and Premio letterario Galileo per la divulgazione scientifica. Her cause of death was heart failure.
