Biography of Maria Bueno

Maria Bueno (* 11. October 1939 in São Paulo; † 8. June 2018 in São Paulo) was a brazilian tennis player. She was 78 years old. Her awards include International Tennis Hall of Fame, Sarah Palfrey Danzig Award and Associated Press Athlete of the Year. Her cause of death was lip and oral cavity carcinoma. She was buried at Consolação Cemetery.
