Biography of María de las Mercedes de Borbón y Orléans

Infanta María de las Mercedes, Countess of Barcelona (* 23. December 1910 in Madrid; † 2. January 2000 in Lanzarote) was a spanish and Two Sicilian Royal. She was 89 years old. She was married to Juan de Borbón y Battenberg. She had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). Her faith was Catholicism. She was awarded the Dame of the Order of Queen Maria Luisa. Her cause of death was myocardial infarction. She was buried at Royal Crypt of the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
