Biography of Maria Montessori

Maria Montessori (* 31. August 1870 in Chiaravalle; † 6. May 1952 in Noordwijk) was an italienische Ärztin, Reformpädagogin, Philosophin und Philanthropin. She was 81 years old. She studied at Sapienza University of Rome. She worked at Sapienza University of Rome. Her faith was Catholic Church. Her awards include Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau, Knight of the Legion of Honour and honorary doctor of the University of Amsterdam.
