Marian McPartland (* March 20, 1918 in Slough; † August 20, 2013 in Port Washington) was a british pianist, composer, writer and radio host. She was 95 years old. She was married to Jimmy McPartland. Her education included Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Bowling Green State University. She received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Peabody Awards. Her cause of death was disease. She was buried at Arlington Cemetery.
