Biography of Mariano Picón Salas

Mariano Picón Salas (* 26. January 1901 in Mérida; † 1. January 1965 in Caracas) was a venezuelan writer. He was 63 years old. He studied at University of Chile. He worked at Columbia University and Central University of Venezuela. His awards include National Prize for Literature of Venezuela and Grand Cross of the Order of the Sun of Peru‎.
