Biography of Marie Ponsot

Marie Ponsot (* 6. April 1921 in Brooklyn; † 5. July 2019 in Manhattan) was an american poet, writer, critic translator. She was 98 years old. Her education included Columbia University and St. Joseph's University, New York. She worked at Queens College and New York University. She received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Shelley Memorial Award.
