Mario Echandi Jiménez (* 17. June 1915 in San José; † 30. July 2011 in San José) was a president of Costa Rica. He was 96 years old. His faith was Catholicism. His awards include Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. His cause of death was pneumonia.
