Biography of Marius Canard

Marius Canard (* 26. December 1888 in Dracy-Saint-Loup; † 13. September 1982 in Duingt) was a french Orientalist and historian. He was 93 years old. His education included University of Lyon and Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales. He worked at University of Algiers 1. He received 5 awards, including Croix de guerre 1914–1918, Fellow of the British Academy.
