Biography of Mary Agnes Chase

Mary Agnes Chase (* 29. April 1869 in Iroquois County; † 24. September 1963 in Bethesda) was an uS-amerikanische botanische Illustratorin und Botanikerin. She was 94 years old. She studied at University of Chicago. She worked at Smithsonian Institution, United States Department of Agriculture, Field Museum of Natural History and United States National Museum. Her awards include Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and honorary doctor of the University of Illinois system. She was buried at Rosehill Cemetery.
