Biography of Maurice Prou

Maurice Prou (* 28. December 1861 in Sens; † 4. October 1930 in Néris-les-Bains) was a french medievalist, paleographer and numismatist. He was 68 years old. His education included École des chartes and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at École des chartes, French School of Rome and BnF Museum. His awards include Officer of the Legion of Honour, Commander of the Order of Leopold and prix du Baron-de-Courcel.
