Maurice Richard (* August 4, 1921 in Montreal; † May 27, 2000 in Montreal) was a canadian ice hockey player. He was 78 years old. He received 8 awards, including Stanley Cup, Companion of the Order of Canada. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease. He was buried at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
