May Smith (* 1. January 1906 in Shimla; † 24. July 1988 in Coromandel) was a new Zealand painter, engraver, textile designer and textile printer. She was 82 years old. Her education included Elam School of Fine Arts and Royal College of Art. She worked at Auckland College of Education and Epsom Girls' Grammar School.
