Biography
Maynard Ferguson (* May 4, 1928 in Montreal; † August 23, 2006 in Ventura) was a canadian jazz musician and bandleader. He was 78 years old. His education included Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal and High School of Montreal. His awards include Charles E. Lutton Man of Music Award, Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Member of the Order of Canada. His cause of death was kidney failure.
