Biography of Mayne Smeeton

Mayne Smeeton (* 31. May 1921; † 12. August 2008) was a new Zealand anaesthetist and sports physician. He was 87 years old. His education included Auckland Grammar School and University of Otago. He worked at Waikato Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Auckland City Hospital, Dunedin Hospital and University of Otago. He was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
