Biography of Meier Schwarz

Meier Schwarz (* 28. January 1926 in Nuremberg; † 12. January 2022 in Jerusalem) was an israelischer Hydrobiologe. He was 95 years old. His education included Bar-Ilan University and Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He worked at Negev Institute for Arid Zone Research, Bar-Ilan University, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem College of Technology, Mossad LeAliyah Bet and Michlalah Jerusalem College. His awards include Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Yakir Yerushalayim. He was buried at Mount of Olives.
