Mercedes Wrischer (* 5. February 1929 in Belgrade; † 3. December 2011 in Zagreb) was a croatian biologist. She was 82 years old. Her education included Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, Heidelberg University and University of Freiburg. She worked at Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb and Ruđer Bošković Institute. She was awarded the Order of Danica Hrvatska.
