Biography of Merze Tate

Merze Tate (* 6. February 1905 in Rolland Township; † 27. June 1996 in Washington, D.C.) was an uS-amerikanische Historikerin und Hochschullehrerin. She was 91 years old. Her education included Harvard University, Western Michigan University, Radcliffe College and Columbia University. She worked at Howard University and Bennett College. Her awards include Michigan Women's Hall of Fame and honorary doctorate. She was buried at Pine River Cemetery.
