Biography
Michael Ellis DeBakey (* September 7, 1908 in Lake Charles; † July 11, 2008 in Houston) was an american cardiac surgeon. He was 99 years old. His education included Tulane University of Louisiana, Heidelberg University, Tulane University School of Medicine and University of Strasbourg. His faith was Maronite Church. He received 9 awards, including William Procter Prize for Scientific Achievement, Lomonosov Gold Medal. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
