Biography of Michail Iwanowitsch Budyko

Michail Iwanowitsch Budyko (* 20. January 1920 in Gomel; † 10. December 2001 in Saint Petersburg) was a russischer Meteorologe und Geowissenschaftler. He was 81 years old. His education included Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University and Saint Petersburg State University. He worked at State Hydrological Institute and The Voeikov Main Geophysical Observatory. He received 8 awards, including Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Serafimovskoe Cemetery.
