Biography of Michail Naumowitsch Garkawi

Michail Naumowitsch Garkawi (* 26. March 1897 in Moscow; † 14. September 1964 in Moscow) was a soviet actor, humorist and conferencier. He was 67 years old. He was married to Lidija Andrejewna Ruslanowa. He studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He worked at Moscow Art Theatre and Blue Blouse. His awards include Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945" and Order of the Patriotic War, 1st class. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
