Biography of Michail Romanowitsch Schura-Bura

Michail Romanowitsch Schura-Bura (* 21. October 1918 in Parafiivka; † 14. December 2008 in Moscow) was a sowjetisch-russischer Mathematiker, Informatiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 90 years old. He studied at MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. He worked at Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, Steklov Institute of Mathematics and Lebedev Institute of Precision Mechanics and Computer Engineering. He received 6 awards, including USSR State Prize, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945". He was buried at Donskoe cemetery.
