Michail Stepanowitsch Kapiza (* 5. November 1921 in Iurkivtsi; † 15. November 1995 in Moscow) was a soviet diplomat. He was 74 years old. His education included Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Moscow State Linguistic University. He worked at MSU The Institute of Asian and African Studies. He received 8 awards, including USSR State Prize, Honoured Cultural Worker of the RSFSR. He was buried at Kuntsevo Cemetery.
