Biography of Mikis Theodorakis

Mikis Theodorakis (* 29. July 1925 in Chios; † 2. September 2021 in Athens) was a greek composer. He was 96 years old. He was married to Myrto Altinoglou. His education included Conservatoire de Paris and Athens Conservatoire. His faith was Eastern Orthodoxy. He received 10 awards, including Commander of the Legion of Honour, grand officier de l'ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg. His cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was buried at Galatas Chanion Cemetery.
