Biography
Mildred Dresselhaus (* November 11, 1930 in The Bronx; † February 20, 2017 in Mount Auburn Hospital) was an american physicist. She was 86 years old. She was married to Gene Dresselhaus and Frederick Reif. Her education included Harvard University, University of Chicago, Cornell University, Hunter College, Hunter College High School and Radcliffe College. She received 10 awards, including Kavli Prize in Nanoscience, L'Oréal-UNESCO Award For Women in Science. She was buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
