Biography of Miles Barnett

Miles Barnett (* 30. April 1901 in Dunedin; † 27. March 1979 in Waikanae) was a new Zealand physicist, meteorologist. He was 77 years old. His education included University of Cambridge, Christ's College, Christchurch and University of Otago. He worked at Meteorological Service of New Zealand and Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. His awards include Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi and Fellow of the Institute of Physics.
