Biography of Mirdza Ķempe

Mirdza Ķempe (* 27. January 1907 in Liepāja; † 12. April 1974 in Riga) was a lettische Lyrikerin und Übersetzerin. She was 67 years old. She was married to Eriks Ādamsons. She studied at University of Latvia. Her awards include USSR State Prize and Order of the Red Banner of Labour. She was buried at Rainis Cemetery.
