Mishima Yukio (* 14. January 1925 in Tokyo; † 25. November 1970 in Tokyo) was a japanischer Schriftsteller und politischer Aktivist. He was 45 years old. He was married to Yōko Hiraoka. He studied at Graduate Schools for Law and Politics and Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo. He worked at Ministry of the Treasury and Bungakuza. His faith was Shinto. He received 8 awards, including Shinchosha literature award, Kishida Theatre Award. His cause of death was stabbing. He was buried at Tama Cemetery.
