Mobutu Sese Seko (* October 14, 1930 in Lisala; † September 7, 1997 in Rabat) was a congolese politician and military officer, the first and only president of Zaire from 1971 to 1997 (1930 – 1997). He was 66 years old. He was married to Bobi Ladawa Mobutu and Marie-Antoinette Gbiatibwa Gogbe Mobutu. He studied at Collège du Léman. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 6 awards, including Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic‎, Grand Collar of the Order of Prince Henry. His cause of death was prostate cancer.
