Biography of Mohamed Talbi

Mohamed Talbi (* 16. September 1921 in Tunis; † 1. May 2017 in Tunis) was a tunesischer Historiker, Denker und Islamologe. He was 95 years old. His education included Faculty of Arts of Paris, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Tunis, Sadiki College and Tunis University. He worked at Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Tunis. His faith was Islam. He received 6 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Order of the Republic. His cause of death was respiratory failure. He was buried at Jellaz cemetery.
