Neil Simon (* July 4, 1927 in New York City; † August 26, 2018 in Manhattan) was an american playwright, writer, academic. He was 91 years old. He had 4 wives. His education included New York University Tisch School of the Arts, DeWitt Clinton High School and University of Denver. His faith was Judaism. He received 10 awards, including Tony Award for Best Author, Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay. His cause of death was HIV.
