Ngaio Marsh (* 23. April 1895 in Christchurch; † 18. February 1982 in Christchurch) was a neuseeländische Krimischriftstellerin. She was 86 years old. She studied at University of Canterbury. Her awards include Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, The Grand Master and honorary doctor of the University of Canterbury. She was buried at Church of the Holy Innocents Churchyard.
